This adaptable seminar allows managers and employees to learn and improve their skills in all manner of communication scenarios, be it difficult discussions with clients, sensitive feedback discussions with employees or regular team meetings. Participants learn to become more aware of the language they use, to be more targeted in their argumentation and to adapt to different situations and discussion partners. It is a highly interactive seminar with a lot of relevant and practice oriented exercises and role plays.
The training covers three main areas:
Me as a communicator:
Examples: body language, voice, confidence, preparation etc.
My discussion partner:
Examples: flexibility with different personalities, cultures and hierarchy levels. Considering my partner’s needs and expectations etc.
The communication situation:
Examples: small talk, argumentation techniques, tactics, strategies, giving feedback etc.
Online via a platform such as Microsoft Teams, Webex or Zoom.
Typically, two to three days from 9am till 5pm, but this can be shorter or longer depending on your needs.
Ideally, between six and eight to allow as much practice as possible, but this can be more if required.
It is important that participants have a stable internet connection and are willing to take part with their camera on. Everything else is provided by the trainer.
